It's been awhile...

Yep. Since my last post I've graduated from NDSU with a BS in Child Development & Family Science! I'm hoping to find a job at a daycare or preschool...we'll see how that goes!

As you can probably imagine, Chris and I are now married! It really was the happiest day of my life (as corny as that sounds)!

Chris is at Ft. McCoy, Wisconsin training to go over to Iraq. He's there til about mid August, then he gets to come home for a few days. After that it's off to Iraq!

Less than two months...

Spring break sure went by quick! Chris and I had fun taking our engagement pictures. Can't wait to see them! Dress fittings went well, and I also found a flower girl dress! I just hope it fits her!! We have hotel rooms now, but I only got 10 cause I didn't know who all would need/want one. I can add more as needed, but I'm not sure if that means more $....and I really need to call the lady who said she did flowers. Other than getting some more decorations, I think we're all set....*crosses fingers*

Time's going too fast...

Only a couple months to the wedding!! I'm getting kinda nervous. Chris and I have our engagement pictures on Thursday, and I go in for my dress alterations on Saturday. Yay! We're still sending out invites, and anxiously awaiting RSVPs from those we have sent out...still need flowers and hotel rooms................oy. At least the list isn't as long as it was a month ago!

Moving the wedding up

Originally Chris and I had planned on marrying on August 4th. Now he's been alerted to go to Iraq, and if he does (and more than likely will), he'll be leaving either June or July. So we have a tentative new date of May 18th, but the dj hasn't called me back yet. Other than that, everything else should work out. It's just a matter of getting a few things, and actually booking that date.

Today is a good day...

...and I hope to have more like them soon. Today at the preschool was awesome. I was missed, especially by one girl. Made me feel loved. :-)
